Step 2: Tile Thickness Is an Issue

Another trip to Spotlight for a ornament shelf and a tiler for some more coloured tiles.  A couple of weeks later and the shelf is complete.

Lesson learned: Tiles come in varying thicknesses.  This can make the surface uneven and more difficult to grout.
