Improving the method for vertical mosaics
With a plan to create a mosaic for a stove splash-back in the kitchen, I needed to find a way to create a mosaic on a horizontal surface that would allow me to easily transfer it to a final vertical setting (following the frog on the wall challenge). A new method was tested on a smaller project before committing to the larger splash-back project.
To test the approach I created this little mosaic on fly screen before it was framed. This new method worked well and the mosaic now hangs proudly beneath the letter box.
