We renovated our kitchen and I decided to try to use some of the left over marble. I will never complain about the difficulty of cutting floor tiles again. Marble is very hard to work with as it's hard and the tiles are very thick. The only options are to smash the marble with a big hammer and hope you get the shapes you want, or cut it property which only gives you straight lines (and I have a thing against right angles). As it had to be placed on the wall, I applied the successful fly screen technique.
