Mosaic Pot Holder
Another trip to the tiler, this time to buy a range of colours in the same brand (Johnston). They had a range of about 15 colours (still not many colours that I liked, with a particularly limited selection of blues). This pot holder is more in line with what I imagined achieving when I started my first mosaic.
Lesson learned: The benefit of using same brand and style tiles is that all the tiles are the same thickness and hardness. This means they are consistent in how they respond to cutting.
