Maree Henriksen
Having always loved art I was lucky to fulfil my passion and become a Classically trained artist later in life.
​
Born and raised in New Zealand and living in Australia for the majority of my adult life, I can live and breathe the flora and fauna of both countries. Based in Cairns, with the beauty of the Australian multi-coloured tropics and the outback available to me, gives me an enormous supply of subjects to paint. I am in awe of the people, animals, birds and countryside around me.
